![]() The entire experience is just so dull, like it's a great game with an amazing idea, but extremely poor execution. Haven't even really been checking up on game news. That was after only playing for a couple weeks or so, and having a year of break from the game. I'd be on the game daily, and as of rn I don't think I've logged in for around a month. Honestly though, reading this post and really thinking, I might've enjoyed botting more. ![]() The reason I stopped is cause I felt like I was sucking enjoyment out of the game by doing so. But rep, or any endgame item? Bottttttt it away. I would always manually farm the weekly events, because those are short and quite doable usually. ![]() It didn't really feel like it too much otherwise. Why? Because it actually felt like I made progress. Like other than the bot, I myself would play more. Ik this sounds weird, but I actually played the game more when I'd bot. This game is ridiculous with the amount of time it expects for so little. But either way, as long as you yourself know you haven't botted to get the item it still feels good having it, knowing you're one of the few who didn't give up and actually spent the time grinding it.Īs someone who used to bot, I completely get it. The one thing that annoys me with botting is that 99% of the players instantly assume that you've used a bot to get lets say, NSOD or VHL because it is so common for people to bot. ![]() And the feeling of getting one of these items (VHL, NSOD, AFDL, etc) is so nice when you know you've done it all legit. As long as I have a goal and I want to get something it keeps me motivated to keep going. You will already have everything you want unlocked and lose the motivation to play (at least in my case). If you just bot to get any item you want there is never anything for you to do when you actually want to play. However, in my case botting would kind of ruin AQW for me. It takes a really long time to farm certain items and people might not have that time or they dont really feel like farming for a hundred hours or more depending on the item. ![]() I've never used a bot, but I understand people who bot to 100%. ![]()
